Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to recognize and validate sales opportunities, grasp customer needs, and devise technical solutions to satisfy those needs.
  • Deliver pre-sales support to customers, including product demos, technical presentations, and solution proposals.
  • Perform technical evaluations and needs assessments to comprehend customer obstacles, pinpoint possibilities, and suggest suitable products and solutions.
  • Tailor and set up products to match customer requirements, showcasing their features and advantages.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with important customers, influencers, and decision-makers, creating connections and trust to enhance sales prospects.
  • Assist in creating sales proposals, quotations, and bids, ensuring precision and alignment with customer demands.
  • Work together with product management, engineering, and other internal teams to collect customer input, identify product improvements, and prioritize product development endeavors.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, rival offerings, and market dynamics to detect fresh business openings and maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Offer post-sales support and technical aid to customers, addressing queries, solving problems, and guaranteeing customer contentment.
  • Maintain precise records of sales operations, customer interactions, and technical specifications in the CRM system.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline; Master's degree is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of experience in technical sales positions, ideally in industrial automation.
  • Solid technical know-how and knowledge of engineering principles, with the capacity to explain technical ideas to non-technical audiences.
  • Background in the automation or semiconductor sector.
  • Demonstrated history of successfully driving sales and hitting revenue objectives in a technical sales setting.
