Job Title: Compliance Assurance Specialist

The Compliance Assurance Specialist reports directly to the Head, Compliance Assurance Department and is responsible for planning and performing compliance review activities to ensure effective implementation of compliance initiatives and standards across the Bank.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct regulatory compliance reviews to assess level of compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines • Provide assurance on compliance with Anti-Financial Crime (AFC), Anti-Money Laundering/Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) and other non-AML/CFT regulations • Analyze records, data analytics, reports, operating procedures and documentation to recommend corrective action plans to strengthen internal controls • Communicate compliance review findings to relevant stakeholders and senior management • Track progress of corrective action plans and validate resolutions

Requirements:

• Working experience in AFC, AML/CFT or Regulatory Compliance audit review • Good technical knowledge on AFC, AML/CFT and regulatory compliance • Strong understanding of compliance risk assessment, review approach and methodology • Self-motivated and skilled in contributing to a team • Inquisitive mind-set and willingness to learn new things • Problem-solving and decision-making skills • Technical know-how in dealing and analyzing data • Good writing and presentation skills • Master's or Degree from a recognized University • Certification in Regulatory Compliance and/or AML/CFT areas • Current knowledge of AFC, AML/CFT and regulatory requirements • Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint or other presentation software
