We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Services Engineer to lead our team in delivering innovative building solutions that maximize value for our clients and communities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of building services systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of building services systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Develop and review engineering designs to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and energy efficiency goals.
  • Provide technical leadership in energy management and sustainable building solutions.
  • Conduct energy audits and assessments in line with local green building and sustainability initiatives.
  • Ensure all projects comply with local energy efficiency regulations and standards.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle from conceptualization to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external consultants to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Manage the tender process, including drafting RFPs, evaluating proposals, and selecting contractors.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide innovative building solutions.
  • Present technical proposals and reports to clients, ensuring clear communication of complex engineering concepts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Licensed Mechanical Professional Engineer (PE) in Malaysia.
  • At least 8-10 years of relevant experience in building services engineering, with a strong focus on energy efficiency and sustainable design.
  • Proven track record in leading complex building services projects in Malaysia.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysia's building codes, regulations, and local green building certification processes.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Expertise in HVAC system design, energy management, and sustainability practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize building systems for energy efficiency.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
