**Responsibilities**:

- ** Own the UX vision**:Lead end-to-end UX design for core app features like account management, payments, mobile experience, and design system integration. Champion design excellence and ensure a cohesive user journey across all touchpoints.
- ** Data-informed design**: Collaborate with research to translate user insights, analytics data, and competitive intelligence into innovative solutions that elevate user satisfaction and business goals.
- ** Craft exceptional experiences**:Develop high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and comprehensive UI specifications to guide product and engineering teams.
- Bridge the gap: Foster close collaboration with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless handoff and successful implementation. Advocate for design throughout the development lifecycle.
- ** Design system champion**:Contribute to the evolution and maintainability of AirAsia MOVE's design system, ensuring design consistency and scalability.
- ** Leadership and mentorship**: Be a design thought leader, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing within the design team.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 10+ years of experience as a Principal UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar role within a tech company.
- Proven track record of shipping high-impact user experiences for complex digital products.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, design thinking methodologies, and accessibility best practices.
- Mastery of design tools: Expert in Figma, Sketch, or equivalent prototyping tools. Bonus points for proficiency in design systems tools like Abstract or Zeplin.
- Technical fluency: A solid understanding of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Communication rockstar: Exceptional communication, collaboration, and presentation skills to effectively influence cross-functional teams.
- Agile and adaptable: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing effectively and delivering results under pressure.

**Bonus points if you have**:

- Experience in optimising UX performance using A/B testing and data analysis.
- A proven track record of building and scaling design systems.
- Experience designing for a global audience.
