About the Role

We're seeking an outstanding and experienced professional to handle our Health Services portfolio, supporting healthcare management and provider management for business growth and sustainability. This role requires crafting business insights through data analytics to drive positive change.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze statistical, financial and competitive information to inform pricing and risk recommendations.
  • Collaborate with business users to design and develop statistical analysis and algorithms to support business scenarios.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis, identify discrepancies and patterns, and translate technical information into actionable insights for the business.
  • Support and improve data warehouse infrastructure to strengthen analytics capabilities.
  • Develop executive-level Power BI dashboards, scorecards and reports to inform senior management decisions.
  • Conduct deep-dive analytics to identify improvement opportunities and present findings to senior management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies and best practices in business intelligence and analytics.
  • Lead ad-hoc cross-functional data analytics projects as required.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in a numerate field, such as Actuarial Science, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics or Statistics.
  • At least 8-10 years of related working experience in healthcare analytics or a relevant field.
  • Experience in data analytics project lifecycle, including data requirement, extraction, exploration, transformation, development, implementation and insights.
  • Strong understanding of data models, mining, segmentation, machine learning techniques and algorithms.
  • Proficiency in SQL programming or other database query tools and strong capability with dashboard tools, including Power BI and Tableau.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate findings to various levels of stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
