Job Description:

  1. Preparing interview questions and documentation.
  2. Review matter materials, assess issues that may fall within the ambit of the investigation.
  3. Interviewing individuals, including sometimes non-cooperative ones.
  4. Preparing written minutes and interview notes.
  5. Drafting interview memorandums and reports, investigation report and email summary.
  6. Reviewing large quantities of documents accurately and efficiently.
  7. Identifying key information and effectively communicating findings to other team members and your review manager.
  8. Collaborating with the review manager and your team members to meet critical deadlines.
  9. Recognizing patterns in the data to allow for consistent coding of similar documents in larger quantities.
  10. Being able to multi-task and work on multiple projects, as needed.
  11. Raising questions and issues in a timely manner to the team.
  12. Project is for a term of 6 months to a year, but a permanent role may be offered if performance meets expectations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Actively licensed and in good standing with a bar association; various jurisdictions considered.
  2. Mandatory skills: ability to speak, read and write in Mandarin and experience in conducting interviews.
  3. Experience with investigations is helpful, but training is provided.
  4. Proficient in the use of modern technology, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel.
  5. Critical thinking skills and ability to retain complex work direction.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  7. This role does not involve the practice of law, but legal experience and qualifications are highly preferred.
