Job Title: Senior Logistics Analyst

The Senior Logistics Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes, ensuring full compliance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues concerning transportation, logistics, imports, and exports.
  • Arrange domestic and international transportation between Veeco sites, vendors, and third-party warehouse locations.
  • Draft commercial invoices and handle customs clearance and logistics processes.
  • Ensure full compliance with logistics-related policies in local logistics activities.
  • Handle related SAP transactions used in support of logistics processes.
  • File claims with carriers and follow up as needed.
  • Perform SAP functions such as stock transport orders, parts extensions, and outbound deliveries to support goods movements.

Qualifications:

  • Degree holder in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline, with a minimum of 8 years' experience in a related role.
  • Understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain and Logistics (transportation/distribution/warehousing/inventory management) and international trade/export regulations/procedures.

Abilities, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • A fast learner and good team player who is self-driven with the ability to work in a demanding role and meet tight deadlines.
  • Patient, detail-oriented, and organized, with strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office skills required.
  • SAP experience with Warehouse/Logistics functions strongly preferred.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English, Japanese language skill is a plus.
