Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Conduct financial, variance, and performance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
    • Provide senior management with actionable insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Assist in the annual budgeting process.
    • Help prepare financial forecasts and projections aligned with business strategies and market conditions.
    • Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
  • Financial Operations and Controls:
    • Develop and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures.
    • Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and the integrity of financial records.
    • Oversee the financial closing process.
    • Manage company tax matters and coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance and timely submissions.
  • Financial Planning and Strategy:
    • Contribute to the development and execution of the organization's financial strategies.
    • Evaluate the financial feasibility of new initiatives and opportunities.
    • Offer financial insights and recommendations to support strategic planning.
    • Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in finance and accounting.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Perform any other ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or an equivalent accounting professional qualification.
  • Experience: 5-6 years of experience in finance and accounting roles.
  • Skills:
    • Strong stakeholder management skills and a high level of commitment.
    • Capable of working efficiently under tight deadlines.
    • Experience with SAP is an added advantage.
