SENIOR MANAGER

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDES BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Review and drafting of legal documents/ agreement.
  • Review and drafting of Letter of Awards, Appointments and Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) forwarded to legal department.
  • Handling litigation negotiation of settlement, obtaining approvals for mandate, reduction of cases.
  • Attending meetings & discussion with subsidiaries/ solicitors to discuss/ advice on legal issues arising from departments and subsidiaries.
  • Preparation of memos, brief summaries/ background of cases/ issues, and litigation report/ status.
  • Liaising with solicitors and subsidiaries to obtain quotes.
  • Drafting and reducing legal opinions.
  • Providing ad-hoc opinion and advice as when required for the company.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Someone that is agile and dynamic
  • Experience in JV environment, able to manage JVs business partners and having manufacturing exposure
  • Knowledge in raising IPO and dealing with banks
  • Flexible in travelling when need arises
  • Leading a team in-house legal counsellors/practitioners (This is a Head Department role and reporting to the CEO of the Company while partnering the other Legal Head from the JV Partner).

Job Types: Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24-36 months

Pay: RM17, RM23,000.00 per month

Schedule:
