Legal Associate:
We are seeking a skilled Legal Associate to join our firm and handle a diverse range of new and existing files. As a Legal Associate, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support, including drafting legal documents, conducting research, offering legal opinions, and representing clients in hearings and trials. The ideal candidate should possess a strong grasp of legal knowledge, civil procedure, and demonstrate a high level of independence in managing their caseload.

Responsibilities:
- Handle a variety of new and existing files, ranging in complexity from Magistrate to appellate court level.
- Draft cause papers and other relevant legal documents in line with assigned duties.
- Conduct legal research, analyze findings, and provide well-supported legal opinions.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and familiarity with required documentation.
- Independently manage files with a high degree of autonomy, including research, drafting cause papers, and submissions.
- Attend hearings and trials, representing clients with professionalism and competence.
- Collaborate effectively as a team player, demonstrating a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Admin & Finance:

Creating and organising various documents
Organising paperwork and files
Answering incoming calls and responding to general queries

Manage account receivable and account payable
Manage simple accounting and bookkeeping
Manage payroll, leaves and other HR administrative matters
and other functions related to the general operation of the companies

Qualifications and Requirements:

Legal Associate:
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience (PQE), 4+ years preferred.
- Proficiency in both Bahasa Malaysia and English languages.
- Strong academic background and a proven track record of career achievements, meeting core milestones, and KPIs set by previous employers.
- Demonstrated ability to independently handle clients' files and manage legal matters from initial client engagement to providing high-quality representation and billing.
- Highly independent, meticulous, and possess a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent references showcasing reliability, professionalism, and competence.
