The company provides solutions that help businesses manage their fleets of vehicles, track their assets, and optimize operations using telematics technology, which includes GPS tracking, real-time data collection, and vehicle monitoring.

Job Purpose

The role of Sales Director is critical to the growth of the business. You will hold budget level accountability for the sales performance and P&L of the Telematics business in South East Asia.

Your Responsibilities Day To Day Will Be…

  • Drive results in line with the business plan utilising SMART objectives
  • Identify key areas for improvement and deliver clear plans to deliver and measure a tangible result
  • Improve current process and implement new as applicable
  • To reduce customer attrition and improve the overall customer journey
  • Lead, manage, coach, develop and guide the sales team.
  • Identify & develop potential partner and reseller relationships across the region.
  • Take responsibility for the recruitment and headcount within your area with the integration and support of HR
  • Be comfortable moving between hunter and farmer mindsets and managing a team in this way
  • To work with marketing to develop key lead sources in region to diversify from the reliance on fuel customers.

What do we expect of you?

  • Extensive experience gained in a similar role, managing a team of sales professionals.
  • Experience in Telematics, Telecom, Unified Comms, SAAS, or similar sector is essential
  • Strong sales background as an individual contributor and as part of a wider team
  • Experience working between hunter and farmer approaches to sales & account development
  • Ability to leverage relationships
  • Well organised with good time management
