Front Office ManagerSummary: Oversee front desk operations, manage guest concerns, supervise and train staff, handle scheduling, perform ad-hoc tasks, and attend weekly management meetings.
Responsibilities
- Perform any ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by superiors.
- Ensure that all guest requests and concerns are addressed promptly and efficiently.
- Manage guest complaints or special requests and resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Oversee the front desk operations to ensure smooth check-in and check-out procedures.
- Lead and supervise the front office team.
- Train and coach staff members to enhance their customer service skills and ensure adherence to hotel standards.
- Schedule shifts and allocate tasks to ensure adequate staffing during peak and off-peak times.
- Attend weekly management meetings.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Communication, Public Relations, or equivalent certificates or experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Manager.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required. Knowledge of Chinese is an added advantage.
- Able to work effectively under high physical and mental pressure.
- Strong ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work on public holidays and shift rotations when required.
