Manager, Payment Partnerships

  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with financial service providers, including banks, schemes, and mobile wallet platforms, to enhance Lazada's payment solutions.
  • Identify and evaluate potential partnership opportunities, conducting market research and analysis to understand industry trends and competitor offerings.
  • Negotiate and execute partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with Alibaba International's business goals and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, legal, and risk management, to streamline partnership integration and ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Monitor partnership performance, measure key metrics, and implement optimization strategies to maximize value for both Alibaba International and partners.
  • Maintain strong relationships with partners, regularly communicating updates, addressing concerns, and identifying opportunities for joint innovation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, with a strong preference for experience in financial services partnerships.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in partnership management, preferably in the fintech or e-commerce industry.
  • Solid understanding of the global financial services landscape, including credit cards, mobile wallets, and digital payments.
  • Proven track record in negotiating and closing deals with major financial institutions and technology partners.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple partnerships simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing financial services partnerships and a keen eye for compliance.
