Senior Human Resource Executive

Responsibilities- Conduct market research and benchmark salaries to ensure competitiveness.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits and welfare, i.e. leave policies, medical benefits, hospitalisation, etc.
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursements.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with the finance department to ensure proper payroll accounting and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other payroll-related laws.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to management.
- Manage the Human Resource Management System (HRMS), contribute to the development and efficiency of the HRMS.
- Ensure all staff movement data are accurately reflected in the HRMS.
- Coordinate performance appraisals and salary reviews.
- Support managers in performance evaluations and provide guidance on compensation-related matters.
- Attend to employees' complaints, grievances, and disputes.
- Promote a good working rapport and team spirit among all employees.
- Conduct exit interviews to gather valuable insights into employee experiences and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct counselling on work and disciplinary issues.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain proper records and documentation for audit purposes.
- Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related fields.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits management, with at least 2 years of experience leading a team.
- Knowledge and understanding of local compensation and benefit trends.
- Knowledge in implementing and administrating compensation-related software and Human Resource Management System (HRMS).
- Strong people management and interpersonal skills at all levels.
- Good integrity, networking, commitment, independence, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.
- Mature personality, independent, and all-rounded in factory management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Good command of both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Able to work in Ipoh.
