For more than 100 years, the Swiss company has been a reliable and long-term partner to our global customer base.

The subsidiary in Ipoh/Malaysia ensures with a total of 13 employees the customer service in Southeast Asia, supports headquarters in Switzerland with sales activities for welding machines and is responsible for the refurbishment of second-hand machines from Schlatter worldwide in its own workshop in Ipoh.

As a successor solution, Schlatter Southeast Asia is looking for an:

Office and Finance Manager (m/f)

As part of a small administrative team, you will take on a key role with responsibilities including:

  • Finance / Accounting / Controlling
    • Budgeting
    • Accounting and Controlling
    • Monthly reporting to Headquarters in Switzerland in accordance with Group Accounting and Reporting Manual
  • Human Resources
    • HR management
    • Payroll administration
  • Order Processing
    • Purchasing
    • Billing
    • Shipping
  • Travel Management
    • Flight bookings
    • Expense management and authorization
  • General office management and coordination

What requirements and skills we expect from you:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or business administration
  • Experience in an international business environment, ideally with a corporate structure
  • Strong expertise in finance and accounting
  • Motivation and readiness to implement IT/Finance projects, such as the implementation of a new e-invoicing workflow/tool—ideally with prior e-invoicing experience
  • Strong leadership, assertiveness, and decision-making skills, ensuring efficient processes and smooth operations
  • Ability to take responsibility for the site and maintain oversight in the absence of the General Manager
  • Hands-on mentality and ability to thrive in a small industrial setting with diverse responsibilities
  • Availability outside core office hours when required
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
