Job Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate with and urge overdue customers for overdue payments.
  • Prepare various reports on overdue accounts.
  • Visit overdue customers and investigate their status to negotiate improved payment performance.
  • Analyze overdue customers' business status and formulate a plan for next actions.
  • Propose next actions on overdue customers to management with proper information and reasoning, and execute them.
  • Negotiate with repossessors.
  • Communicate with lawyers for litigations against overdue/defaulted customers.
  • Improve the process of negotiations with overdue customers.
  • Conduct training sessions for marketing personnel on handling overdue accounts.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Law, or equivalent.
  • 3 years of working experience in the finance industry (in debt collection or credit department).
  • Experience working in a Japanese company.
