Associate Director, Performance Management

The candidate would be part of the broader CIB Performance Management team generating data insights to drive key business decisions. The candidate will be engaged in various key deliverables within the team focusing on analyzing various process data and working with stakeholders to define key metrics and help build the required visualizations for data-based decision making. The candidate will prioritize demand for the squad within the capacity of the team, articulating benefits of the work and tracking deliveries from end to end. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to contribute to ongoing analytics use cases within the domain, assessing business requirements with consumer stakeholders and delivering insights on data. The candidate will be responsible for Client Coverage Analytics, which will include data sourcing, data transformation, predictive modeling, and creating Tableau dashboards.

Awareness and understanding of the Group's business strategy and model appropriate to the Data Management within Client Coverage. Execution of target state data consumption and distribution model within Client Coverage.

Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates.

Processes
  1. Responsible for generating data insight & driving action for various processes across CIB function.
  2. Create strong blending data capabilities within the team so that we can come up with useful client information from data very quickly.
  3. Engage with business stakeholders across countries and gather requirements and liaise with ETL team to get the required data preparation.
  4. Promote analytics-driven decision making processes across multiple segments/product portfolios.
  5. Engage and execute the dashboards on Tableau or similar visualization tools. Use historic data and generate predictive analytics.
  6. Explore statistical and automation tools like R, SAS, Python, and Alteryx for predictive and prescriptive analytics.
  7. Engage relevant technology teams to embed advanced statistical tools.
  8. Prepare and/or contribute to regular updates for various committees and governance forums.
  9. Provide insights to senior management and the network based on MIS and analytics.
  10. Highlight any perceived risks and early alerts to the management based on data analytics.
  11. Perform data validation and dashboard performance optimization.
Risk Management

The ability to interpret Client Coverage data utilization, opportunity for automation of processes and generation of key insights from data, whilst identifying key issues based on this information and putting in place appropriate controls and measures.
