RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Assist in journal preparation for monthly account closing
  2. Assist in posting of financial related transactions
  3. Assist in monthly inventory closing
  4. Handle general office administrative tasks & clerical work
  5. Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting/audit department
  6. Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
  7. Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
  8. Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
  9. Provide assistance and support to department personnel
  10. Undertake ad-hoc assignments & prepare accounts report as directed
  11. Any other duties assigned by superior from time to time

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Diploma/Degree in Accounting or equivalent
  2. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  4. Self-directed and able to work with minimum supervision
  5. Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
  6. Positive attitude, flexible & adaptive
