We're currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Transfer Agency Analyst (Hybrid) (Internal Job Title: Transaction Capture Representative - C05) based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In this role, you're expected to:

  • Receive and enter unit registry transactions in the registry system.
  • Receive and upload unit prices to the registry system.
  • Prepare payments files and cash instructions.
  • Produce, review and send investor statements.
  • Produce end of day client reporting.
  • Reconciliation of cash movements and resolution of issues.
  • Process and pay fund distributions.
  • Provide creative solutions to reduce errors and to ensure adherence to audit and control policies.
  • Provide back-up coverage for team members and assist team members during high volume periods.
  • Issue monthly statements to investors and distribute them securely via email/Victor Buck System etc.
  • Perform daily end-of-day reconcilement confirming the number of orders by type received and processed.
  • Ensure proper completion of account opening forms, in accordance with Citi FATCA and CRS obligations.
  • Perform tax form validation and update in TA system/FATCA engine.
  • Perform signature verification to ensure signer has authority to authorize placed orders or requests.
  • Meet reporting deadlines in accordance with the clients.
  • Follow applicable Group Compliance policies for the TA role.

As a successful candidate, you'd ideally have the following skills and exposure:

  • Strong knowledge in TA business, products, and workflow.
  • At least 1 year of work experience from any related field.
  • Good to have - Knowledge of operations for various kinds of funds including but not limited to Hedge funds, Mutual funds, Unit Trust funds, Superannuation funds etc.
  • Detailed knowledge of business processes and procedures as well as service and systems (including downstream impacts).
  • Candidate should be flexible and ready to work in different shifts.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • 5:30 am to 6:00 pm (we have staggered shifts).
    • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
