Description:
The Sous Chef – Bakery is responsible for overseeing the bakery team, ensuring consistent production of artisanal breads, viennoiseries, and baked goods that meet Hyatt's culinary excellence standards. This role requires a strong foundation in baking techniques, leadership skills, and a commitment to upholding the highest hygiene and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Certificate or Diploma in Patisserie.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP) or relevant certifications.
- 2-3 years of experience in a professional pastry kitchen with at least some time in luxury hotel or fine-dining setting.
- Excellent team management, leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced & high-pressure environment.
