Job Title: Center Manager
Reports To: Directors

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly dynamic and experienced professional to take on the role of Center Manager for a mixed-use commercial development comprising retail and offices. This role is ideal for a Senior A&P Manager ready to step up or an existing Center Manager with broad expertise in managing commercial properties. The individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of mall operations, including tenant management, marketing & promotions (A&P), event planning, media engagement, and overall property management. This role requires a well-rounded, hands-on leader who excels in a fast-paced, multi-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Tenant & Leasing Management
    • Build strong relationships with tenants and ensure their needs are met while aligning with the building's business objectives.
    • Work with leasing teams to strategize and optimize tenant mix, ensuring a balanced retail offering and high occupancies for the offices.
    • Handle tenant concerns, disputes, and requests efficiently and professionally.
  2. Marketing, Advertising & Promotions (A&P)
    • Develop and execute marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and mall-wide events to enhance footfall and shopper engagement.
    • Collaborate with agencies, media partners, and vendors to maximize brand visibility.
    • Manage budgets and performance metrics for marketing initiatives, ensuring ROI-driven strategies.
    • Utilize digital and traditional media platforms for effective mall promotions.
  3. Event & Media Coordination
    • Plan and execute events to drive traffic and enhance customer experience.
    • Liaise with media outlets and influencers to promote events and tenant activities.
    • Oversee social media content, PR strategies, and customer engagement initiatives.
  4. Property & Facility Management
    • Work closely with building services, maintenance, and security teams to ensure a safe and operational retail and office environment.
    • Oversee car park operations, cleaning services, and other essential property functions.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, government requirements, and corporate policies.
    • Manage budgets, operational expenses, and cost controls for efficient building operations.
    • Prepare reports, analyze performance trends, and implement improvements to optimize revenue.
    • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure timely rental collections and service charge payments.
  5. Stakeholder & Community Engagement
    • Foster partnerships with local authorities, government agencies, and community organizations.
    • Engage with shoppers, tenants, and business owners to improve overall building appeal.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 5-8 years in mall or real estate management, retail/office property, or a related commercial real estate field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in retail operations, property management, A&P, and marketing strategies.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in digital marketing, social media strategies, and property management software is a plus.
  • People-Oriented: Strong relationship management skills to work effectively with tenants, vendors, and stakeholders.
