Business Development Manager (Marine Logistics)

We're looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager (Marine Logistics) who excels at building strong customer relationships and driving business growth. If you're ready to join a dynamic team where your skills will be valued and your career will be nurtured, this opportunity is for you.

Customer Relationship Development

Cultivate new customer relationships and enhance gross profit through strategic engagement.

Utilize telemarketing and personal visits to both potential and existing clients to boost sales and foster customer loyalty. Proactively seek new business opportunities and identify growth potential within current accounts.

International Collaboration & Networking

Coordinate local sales campaigns for international partners and agents. Engage in industry networking events to expand connections and drive business expansion.

Lead the development and implementation of commercial strategies to achieve business objectives.

Participate in bids, RFQs, and other commercial activities, including quotation preparation and follow-up.

Feasibility Studies

Conduct feasibility studies for new and existing ventures to inform decision-making.

Customer Satisfaction

Handle customer complaints and feedback to ensure satisfaction and retention, balancing compliance with local regulations and dispute resolution.

Manage cash effectively and collaborate with Credit Control for efficient credit management.

Market Research

Conduct market research to understand current market trends and identify opportunities for business growth.

Our Requirements .

Education & Experience

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a similar capacity within the marine logistics industry.

Feasibility Studies

Proficient understanding of Singapore ports and maritime regulations.

Business Acumen

Strong commercial instincts and a drive for business development.

Communication Skills

Excellent communication and people management abilities.
