Operations Executive

Job Overview
The Junior Operations Executive supports the operational activities of the business, ensuring processes are executed efficiently and in alignment with company objectives. These operational activities include business development (e.g. marketing efforts and securing sales) as well as research (e.g. surveys by teams on the ground, via calls, online etc. plus software-based social media analytics) and consulting (e.g. developing reports based on survey data etc.). This role involves assisting in implementing operations and coordinating tasks towards supporting research and consulting project completion. A successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager, and when required to the Managing Director, and will have a dynamic opportunity to learn and grow professionally within a structured company framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Support & Coordination:
- Assist in daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to company policies.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to track task execution and address operational challenges.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Process Improvement & Efficiency:
- Identify inefficiencies and propose process improvements to enhance productivity.
- Support the implementation of workflow changes under the Operations Manager's guidance.
- Gather and analyze feedback to optimize team performance.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare, update, and maintain operational reports, proposals, presentations, and performance data.
- Ensure accuracy in tracking key metrics and provide insights to the Operations Manager.
- Project & Service Delivery Assistance:
- Help track project milestones, deliverables, and quality standards, escalating issues as needed.
- Assist in providing delivery updates to stakeholders and internal teams.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as a point of contact for routine queries from teams and clients.
- Support the Operations Manager in maintaining stakeholder relationships.
- Manage communication channels to ensure timely responses and updates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Market Research, Statistics, Social Science, or other related disciplines.
- Prior experience in a similar role or internship is preferred, but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
Skill Sets:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Malay, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Quick learner with the ability to absorb and apply information efficiently.
- A team player with excellent collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills are an advantage).
- Proficiency in AI LLMs (e.g. Chat GPT)
- Familiarity with project management tools and CRM software is a bonus.
- A strong understanding of Malaysian & global politics would be an advantage.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive salary range: RM 2,500.00 – RM 3,000.00 per month, based on experience and qualifications.
