Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • You will direct the financial operations of Malaysia to support the achievement of Malaysia & ASEANZ Business Plan objectives.

  • You will maintain an effective and efficient control environment (SOX, accounting, and internal controls) in line with US and Malaysia standards.

  • You will be partnering with Managing Director to drive business performance and achievement of business objectives.

  • You will provide accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis to the Malaysia & ASEANZ leadership team.

  • You will provide governance and organizational oversight on Board of Directors, manage minority shareholder relationships, report financial information to Board and minority shareholders in accordance with regulatory requirements.

  • You will support and promote ASEANZ efforts, sharing of best practices, and standardization where possible.

Primary Requirements:

  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA is a plus.

  • You have at least 10 years of increasing experience as a finance leader, preferably with interaction with all functions of the business (marketing, manufacturing, consumer products).

  • You have the ability to work under challenging deadlines and requirements.

  • You have demonstrated the ability to work with and manage a large group of people across functions and cultures.

  • You can drive change by direct leadership and by influence; being sensitive to cultural nuances.

  • You have the ability to organize a collective team of people/functions to execute on strategy to deliver goals.

  • You can effectively network and interact with groups having diverse and divergent needs e.g. board of directors, trade partners, government agencies, shareholders, and internal customers.
