Assistant Company Secretary

Location: Taman Tan Sri Yaacob, Skudai, Johor, Malaysia
Salary: RM2,700 – RM3,500 (negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Work Arrangement: In-office position (Work from home is not available)
Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Company Secretary to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is meticulous, responsible, and willing to learn, with a keen eye for detail and an interest in corporate secretarial work.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and filing corporate secretarial documents, including resolutions, minutes, and annual returns
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, such as the Companies Act and SSM requirements
- Maintain and update statutory records and registers
- Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders
- Assist in preparing meeting agendas, minutes, and reports
- Handle general administrative and clerical tasks
Requirements
- Pursuing or completed MAICSA (Chartered Secretary qualification) or Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or a related field (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
- At least one year of experience in corporate secretarial work (Fresh graduates will also be considered)
- Experience in the field of secretarial work is an added advantage
- Proficient in Chinese, Malay, and English (spoken and written)
- Familiar with SSM regulations and corporate secretarial practices (preferred but not required for fresh graduates)
- Must be able to work in the office daily (no remote work option)
- Meticulous, independent, and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Good communication and organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
