E-commerce Operations Manager

**Responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage supply chain planning and performance management solutions to reinforce our business agenda.
- Ensure that inventory is kept at a healthy level while ensuring our SLAs are met.
- Vendor Management: Identify, engage, and oversee local warehousing & logistics vendors, conducting regular market studies and annual reviews. Manage tenders and sourcing activities to ensure efficiency and cost improvements.
- Performance Oversight: Represent vendors' performance, monitor operational performance on a monthly basis, and conduct monthly review meetings to monitor performance and implement continuous improvements.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of last mile delivery market trends and developments. Utilize insights to benchmark and optimize delivery methods, while introducing new services and options.
- Collaborative Initiatives: Collaborate closely with internal teams (Marketing, Customer Service, and Commercial) to drive continuous improvements in customer experience, costs and processes.
- Negotiations: Negotiate with external carriers to secure favorable conditions and SLAs. Drive negotiations for new prices and conditions, always striving for competitive advantage.
- Continuous Optimization: Analyze warehousing performance, inventory locations and costs to optimize the carrier portfolio. Implement cycle count for inventory and financial audit purposes.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Retail Planning, Operations & Supply Chain.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in logistics/supply chain continuous improvement functions, business planning and data management.
- Prior experience working in an e-commerce company and demand planning and forecasting experience is a plus.
- Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
- High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
- Able to have a macro view of the business to contribute as a part of the strategic team, yet also being detailed-oriented to know the various segments along the entire supply chain.
- Ability to thrive in a high energy environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel.
- Able to function as an individual contributor to get their hands dirty on day-to-day processes on a need-to basis.
- Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to dive in and quickly understand root cause and identify scalable solutions.
- Excellent business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done.
- Strong numerical and analytical aptitude, excel skills and high proficiency in creating and managing advanced models.
**Salary**: RM7,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
