Key Objectives:
Centralized Agency Unit is formed primarily to cater for low producing agents as defined by the company and those other agents who prefer engagements through virtual and electronic delivery modes with the objective to reach the intended target agents nationwide without the need for constant face to face physical meetings.

The position and role shall provide leadership, advise and solutions to assigned subordinates as well as work to achieve production targets, execute relevant strategies, initiatives and action plans relating to this Centralized Agency Unit.

Compliance with prevailing Insurance Act 1996, PIAM, Bank Negara guidelines and Chubb policies and procedures is expected.

Major duties and responsibilities
- Make call rotations to assigned / targeted Agents based on schedule set.
- Engage with assigned / targeted Agents towards achieving production targets by building of new business and retaining renewals.
- Drive sales campaigns, cross selling and upselling to assigned / targeted agents.
- Ensure roll out of new products launched to assigned / targeted agents.
- Support new system enhancements for roll out to assigned / targeted agents.
- Update assigned / targeted agents with information on new or changes in the guidelines and regulations affecting agents.
- Encourage assigned/ targeted agents to participate in the Company’s engagement activities and events where relevant.
- Track and manage performance of assigned / targeted agents.
- Manage performance of subordinates and motivate them towards achieving production and other related targets.
- Provide advice to subordinates relating to arising issues in day-to-day work with the aim to solve and/or facilitate solution.
- Ensures all dealings is in full compliance of the Insurance Act and Regulations, guidelines and circulars issued by Bank Negara Malaysia, and all relevant laws, rules and regulations affecting the Company’s business.
- Any other related work assigned by Head of Centralized Distribution Services

**Skills**:

- Able to converse well in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to also converse in other local languages preferred.
- Good management skills
- Good communication skills and excellent influencing skills
- Relevant computer skills
- Good understanding of general insurance products
- Ability to operate effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Quick learner and results oriented.
- Positive mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Strong ability to build effective business relationships and collaborate with others at all levels of the business.
- High level of professionalism, enthusiasm, maturity, and honesty in daily interactions.

Experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in general insurance
- Experience in sales and sales management is an added advantage.

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant professional qualifications &/or recognized degree
- Insurance underwriting & technical qualifications are an added advantage.
