Material Officer

Bayan Lepas, Malaysia TEXCHEM-PACK (PP) SDN BHD Full time

Responsible for production and material planning and shipping activities (rotation) based onfirms’ orders, forecast, inventory and production lead time.
- Plan and maintain the inventory to ensures that the required parts and materials inventory isavailable in order to support production.
- Analyse actual production performance vs. plan - work with respective production team toimprove production plan compliance.
- Review capacity plans with objective to meet the goals and provide improved capacity.
- Closely monitor and liaise with internal parties to ensure all orders are fulfilled on time.
- To control inventory of raw material, WIPs and Finished Goods and regularly review inventory toprevent aging stock.
- Compilation of machine and tooling capacity, analyse the capacity utilisation versus demand /forecast. Work closely with multi-functional team to ensure planned order and delivery aremeeting scheduled.
- Liaise with customers, transporters, freight forwarders, customs, insurance brokers in shipment delivery matter.
- To ensure all documents are maintained in good filling system and be traceable.
- Assists superior on handling any other assignments / projects as and when required /instructed.

Job Requirements:

- Ability to work with minimum supervision, highly disciplined, committed and ability to work under pressure and meet the deadline.
- At least one year of working experience in the related field is require for this position.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
