Responsibilities
- To inform clients about factors such as shipping options, timelines, transfers or regulations affecting shipments.
- To provide customers with bookings and follow up for job creation.
- To determine method of shipment and prepare or advise for preparation of bill of lading, invoices and other shipping documents.
- To prepare documentation according to custom regulations, laws or procedures.
- To arrange for payment of taxes and duties on shipments.
- To provide shipment status notification to exporters, consignees or insurers.
- To advise clients on transportation and payment methods and any related information.
- To compare records to verify accuracy.
- To create jobs and key in details in the system.
- To make arrangements for additional services, such as storage or inland transportation.
- To prepare Shipping Instruction for shipping agents and obtain Boat Note from Shipping Agent.
- To verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
- To generate barcode and DITMD via system.
- To verify barcode against manifest from respective customers and respective DITMD.
- To perform custom declaration and update the custom registration no in the system.
- To compile all completed declaration documents and ensure all are in order to handover the documents to respective destination forwarding agent.
- To scan original documents through Document Management System for reference purposes.
- To compile sales record by vessel.
- To do other tasks as assigned by Management.

**Requirements**:

- At least 2 years of working experiences in forwarding.
- Well verse in handling **K1, K2, K3, K5, K8 and Bill of Lading documents**.
- Have knowledge in custom clearance processes.
- Preferably have Kursus Asas Ejen Kastam.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Glenmarie, Shah Alam.
- Computer literate.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: Up to RM3,500.00 per month
