Shipping Assistant

RESPONSIBILITY:

- Receives and stores documents and confidential files; maintains record of approved document and confidential file destruction.
- Weekly and monthly transactions report.
- Work closely with appointed forwarder and shipping agent for accurate and preferred destinations.
- To manage and implement smooth warehouse operations system through computerised system.(ERP)
- Organising and ensuring accurate and periodic cycle counts and stock takes.
- Maintains the warehouse, records area and stores area in a neat and orderly manner.
- Oversee warehouse security through review of physical security measures and continuous monitoring, and recommends modification on the program/daily task.
- Shipment booking and liaise with internal and external department.
- To implement warehouse ISO procedure and guidelines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
- Preferable Diploma in Warehouse Management/Logistics or equivalent
- With 2-3 years working experience in warehouse/ supply chain activities
- Able to interact with people at all level and as a team player.
- Must be trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality.

SKILLS
- Computer literate
- Familiar with custom procedure
- Hands-on experience in MACOLA ERP Software will be added advantage.
- Knowledge and experience in Licensed Manufacturer Warehouse (LMW).

**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus
