To assist EIP Coordinator for the effective management of the Early Intervention Programme.

**DETAILS OF RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. To assist the coordinator in the planning of Individual Training Plan for BVIP children from 0-6 years of age.

2. To provide home based training and guidance to BVIP children and their families.

3. To assist in the review, assessment, evaluation and modification (if necessary) the IEP to suit the needs of the EIP children.

4. To assist in the monitoring of the BVIP child’s development through regular home visits and training.

5. To visit and provide relevant service to blind and visually impaired children requiring special attention.

6. To work closely with the EIP coordinator and other related professionals and organizations to understand and build on the EIP child’s strength.

7. To assist the EIP coordinator in the planning and implementation of public interaction for the purpose of educating the public on the needs and importance of EIP.

8. To maintain and update records/files of the BVIIP children at all times.

9. To serve and assist in all activities pertaining to the development of the BVIP child and families organized by Family Support Network or other agencies.

10. To assist the EIP coordinator in liaising with other Government organizations and non-government organizations for referral of cases that need early intervention and attention.

11. To provide counseling services to the families whenever necessary.

12. To maintain and organize activities at toy library.

13. To submit monthly report to the Programmed coordinator.

14. The job functions are not limited or restricted to those stated above. Other duties/tasks may be assigned from time to time by superiors and management.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**

1. Minimum SPM/SPTM academic qualification.

2. Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English language.

3. Good computing and writing skills is required.

4. Possess valid driving license and willing to travel long distance.

5. Willing to be based at Penang.

**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
