**POSITION**:Procurement Executive

**RESPONSIBILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY**
- Preparing the supplier evaluation.
- Updating and preparing of Pre-Qualified of Supplier List.
- Check and ensure Material Requisition is in order.
- Prepare and coordinate with Procurement Manager of the site budget review (if any).
- Sourcing and select the best purchase in term of quantity, price, terms, deliveries and services with supplier.
- Prepare a Purchase Order in accordance to specification.
- Update and monitor Material Requisition and List of PO.
- Monitor and coordinate deliveries of item between suppliers to ensure that all items are delivered to site/store on time.
- Monitor and updating Delivery Note, Purchase Order and Debit Notes into e-Procurement Management system.
- Prepare and check Material Received Listing report and forward to Procurement Manager for verification and confirmation.
- Handling claims to the factories and vendor for defective, shortage and missing parts.
- Collecting the market trend and the conditions for the present and future price, availability and lead time and capacity of goods and services.
- Print monthly report to site person to verify and return to Procurement department.
- Preparing the sample and catalogue submission to architect or consultant approval.
- Monitor and update samples and catalogues submission to architect or consultant approval.
- Report to Procurement Manager on the trend and market conditions for the present and future price, availability and lead time and capacity of goods and services.
- Build and develop good relationship with suppliers/manufacturers.
- Assist Contract department during tender process.
- Assist Contract department during preparation of site budget.
- Coordinate with Finance & Admin Division in matching of Delivery Note with Invoices.
- Obtain MSDS for all chemical items purchased.
- Maintain proper record and organization of filing system.
- Assist with Office Administrative duties.
- To undertake other related jobs from time to time.

**ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION**
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Contract Management and Procurement or its equivalent.

**EXPERIENCE / SKILL REQUIRED**
- Minimum three (3) years working experience in Procurement, in similar position or related working experience in construction industry for fast-track projects.
- Good interpersonal skill to communicate with other team members.
- Strong communication and negotiation, self-motivated, reliable, able to work under pressure, efficient, initiative, responsibilities, meticulous, multi task, independent and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in English and Malay and Computer literate.
- Willing to work in Batu Kawan, Penang

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
