DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work under the direction of the Chief Steward to ensure cleanliness of all restaurants, banquet and kitchen operating equipment, and the cleanliness of all kitchen, store and refrigerator and related areas including the staff cafeteria.
- Sorts out, stacks and put all soiled china, silver, stainless stell and glassware in the respective racks
- Washes dishes, glasses, pots and all utensils used in the food and beverage outlets.
- Ensures daily cleaning of dishwashing machine.
- Cleans floors in all areas of kitchen and associated area including the staff cafeteria and chef’s office.
- Cleans working tables and kitchen equipment, e.g. stoves, griddles, salamander, steam bottles, frying pans, mixers, slicers, food warmers or any other piece of equipment used in the department.
- Cleans silver, copper or any other special type of equipment, including burnishing and polishing.
- Must operate the dishwashing machine, sort stack and store all equipment in appropriate places for re-use.
- Must keep the garbage room, the garbage containers, the back of the house and all assigned walk areas in clean and spotless condition.
- Must remove the garbage, collected all empty bottles and replace crates, clean sanitize the garbage cans.
- Cleans all kitchen hoods and elevator landings.
- Must perform any additional duties required by his Supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Minimum SPM
- Hotel Management certificate or any related degree is a plus
- Minimum 1 year experience as a steward, preferred in similar section
- Excellent working skills
- A good English and Bahasa. Other language is a plus

**Salary**: From RM1,600.00 per month
