Business Office Supervisor

Participate in hospital QA activities. Maintaining appropriate records system.
- Provide professionalism, quality customer service at all times while ensuring all registration and/or admission procedures of the patients to hospital are accurately keyed into Origin system and ensuring PDPA is applied at all times.
- Ensure registration and/or admission staffs are adequately trained in dealing with the public or customer relations and will provide the necessary support to the staff when dealing with specific grievances.
- Ensure screening of financial status of patient and/or relatives prior to registration and/or admission and get ready the guarantee letter accordingly. Handling of enquiries and providing customers with all related information.
- Attend to Emergency Room (ER) patients who are not accompanied by relatives for registration and/or admission in the event staffs are occupied.
- Assess the validity and eligibility of patient's guarantee letter for OP/IP consultation, investigation and treatment.
- Assist patients with the outpatient and/or inpatient guarantee letter arrangements.
- Liaise with TPA/Insurance/Corporate companies for patients guarantee letter coverage.
- Coordinate with service providers regarding the coverage or exclusion of the guarantee letter.
- Ensure monthly completion and submission of all staffs attendance/OT/allowance claims/newspaper and other census to the respective section.
- Performing additional duties as and when required by the Management.
- To assist Business Office Manager and or Business Office Executives in preparingthe department duty roster.
- Help to manage the department in the absence of Business Office Manager and or Business Office Executives.
- Assist in ordering supplies from store and check inventory.
Assist the Front Office Manager, Front Office Executive, Front Office Officer, and/or Front Office Assistants in Submitting confidential payroll documents including pay slip summary, appraisal forms, attendance sheets, claims, and etc. to Payroll Department
Assist the Front Office Manager, Front Office Executive, Front Office Officer, and/or Front Office Assistants in checking the department’s attendance sheet and alert the Front Office Manager, Front Office Executive, Front Office Officer, and/or Front Office Assistants to follow-up on documentation to support an absent day(s) or late reporting(s) to Human Resource Department
