**Responsibilities**:
As an technical support engineer, you must be a highly motivated, self-starter willing to listen, talk and work well with the group, offering suggestions and taking them as well. You should possess extensive experience in providing technical support in a fast-paced environment. You welcome challenges and take initiative. You write and speak your points clearly and you have serious analytical and technical skills.
- Implement security patches, updates, and backups to ensure the integrity and availability of systems.
- Provide proactive monitoring and proactive maintenance to prevent potential system issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network, database, server, vendor and development team to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.
- Managing code or artifacts deployment across environment to ensure continued and synchronized functionality.
- Providing customers with step-by-step guidance to resolve technical problems.
- Following up on technical queries and providing prompt feedback.
- Keeping a record of configuration changes and scheduling technical updates.
- Documenting error reports and monitoring performance metrics.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, procedures and troubleshooting guides.
- Identify trends and patterns in support requests and proactively address recurring issues.
**Job Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work related experience.
- 3+ years of working experience in the related fields.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux (RHEL) & Windows environment.
- In-depth knowledge of DevOps CI/CD pipeline with integration of following tools: Kubernetes, Helm, Nginx, Rabbit MQ, Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory,
- Exceptional ability to prioritize and diagnose IT problems.
- Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest technologies, testing practices, and customer support techniques.
- Team player mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
**Salary**: Up to RM9,000.00 per month
