- Our client is a games development studio founded in 2008 - Malaysia. They are a tech focused studio with both internal IP(s) and external co-development projects. They build games over multiple platforms, primarily focused on PC (Unreal Engine). Their flagship IP Eximius : Seize the Frontline is a full serviced multiplayer 5v5 FPS/RTS hybrid squad based combat game, launched 2021 on both Steam, then the Epic Games Store. They provide full cycle, co-development, consulting, and virtual production support to our external partners. Today they are a team of forty-five full-time internal developers and growing.

**The Role**:
- the lookout for great full-time talents in Real-Time 3D Asset Art development to join our fast growing development team. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with our core team in producing consistently believable, stylistically accurate, platform and engine optimized 3D assets in our many internal and external projects.
**Role Descriptions**:
- Principal Responsibilities
- Work alongside our team and project stakeholders in ts, in-lined with the project’s visual direction, be it soft or hard surface oriented, within technical specifications and calendar milestone demands.
- Develop visually invoking 3D assets, utilizing strong art fundamentals, knowledge across multiple disciplines and software in constructing environments, vehicles, props, etc. accurately, with respect to the project’s concept designs, within technical boundaries.
- Work closely with multiple disciplines, in designing, planning and ascertaining accurate production estimates, to identify any potential pitfalls during development. To ensure a virtually believable universe that our players would fully immerse themselves in.
- Team and Personal Responsibilities
- Good interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills, is able to effectively liaise over various disciplines, and stakeholders across different project and approval stages.
- Experienced, or keen to learn and improve new pipeline and production practices through iterative development methodologies, be it traditional or agile workflows.
- Constantly familiarizing and keeping updated with current industry standards, trends, pipelines, and software to effectively and consistently hit higher graphical benchmarks.
**Skill Descriptions**:
- Core Requirements:
- Experience in 3D Software (Pixologic ZBrush, Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, etc.)
- Experience in 2D Software (Adobe Photoshop, Substance Painter, Designer etc.)
- Experience with Unreal Engine 4, and or 5.
- Experience in Version Control Software (SVN, Git, Perforce, etc.).
- Experience in Game Art Asset Pipeline (High-Poly, Low-Poly, Baking, etc.)
- Experience in Traditional and or Agile work environments and methodologies.
- Good observational skills when replicating 2D concepts and designs into 3D assets.
- Ability to understand complex multi-state design(s) for assets needing animation.
- Ability to self assess, profile, improve, and optimize 3D assets in-game.
- Knowledgeable in a typical game development cycle.
- Is Proficient in English, verbal and written.
- Supplementary Skills:
- Experience in Unreal Material development.
- Experience in in-game Asset Management, and Level / Asset Placement.
- Beneficial & Bonus Skills:
- Experience in Organic Sculpting (Character and Creature).
- Experience in Stylized / Hand Painted Development.
- Experience in in-game Lighting Development.
- Experience in PBR (Physically Based Rendering) Texture Workflows.
- Experience in Modular Pipeline Development.
- Experience in various hardware and platforms (Mobile, Console, PC, etc.).
- Experience in In-Game Post Processing tools (Unreal Engine).
**Rank Requirements**:
- Junior / Fresh Graduate 3D Artist Requirements:
- Possesses a good understanding of shapes and forms when creating structure. Alongside a sufficient portfolio showcasing in-game 3D assets using industry standard software(s) and game engine(s). Previous work showcases stylistic consistency, and imaginative use of geometry, texture, shaders and lighting to create visually appealing and game ready 3D assets.
- Intermediate 3D Artist Requirements:
- Solid experience and demonstrated ability in 3D character development, consistent delivery of assets that meet project requirements, both technically and stylistically. Decent knowledge in in-game technical practices. Have at least been credited with one title launch, with preferably a minimum of three to four years of industry experience.
