**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Possess at least 5 years of working in a commercial kitchen experience, with 2 years in a supervisory / managerial level.
- A professional qualification such as Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Experience in fast paced, cafe.
- Proven supervisory skills and training experience.
- Excellent communication skills between co-workers, suppliers, contractors and customers.
- Health and Safety awareness.
- Technical knowledge of kitchen equipments.
- Knowledge of statutory requirements for food safety.
- The ability to make decisions, plan work and follow it through.
- Ability to manage and motivate staff and provide innovative menu ideas.
- Ability to control costs and work within budgets.
- Ensure that all food serve meet the standard as set by the company.
- Able to receive constructive criticism and willing to learn and re-learn new skills to improve.

**REQUIREMENT**:

- Excellent hands-on skills with eye for details.
- Ability to work independently AND in a team.
- Ability to lead and delegate tasks to team members.
- Ability to complete paperwork appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Healthy, able to lift heavy items and stand for long hours ( > 5 hours).
- Positive attitude and responsible character.
- Pleasant personality with focus on excellence in customer service.
- Prior working experience will be an added advantage.
- Self-starter with good communication and interpersonal skill.
- Able to speak in English and Bahasa Melayu.
- Free from drugs, alcohol or any other substances.
- Possess self-confidence and be able to actively interact with all relevant parties.
- Minimum 5 years experience in F&B, with 2 years experience in managing kitchen team.
