You will work in the Science & Technology (S&T) global function. You will be a member of the LabVantage Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) implementation project team. The LabVantage project will roll out a global LIMS platform across S&T Research and Product Development labs over a 3 - 5 years period. You will partner with LIMS Stream Leads and other analysts on the delivery of the three streams of the LabVantage LIMS project: Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN), Analytical Management System (AMS) and Chemical Inventory Management (CIM). You will be based in Subang Jaya Selangor and will report directly to IT Manager, Science & Technology.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Help deploy a functional LIMS system (Electronic Notebook, Analytical Management, and Chemical Inventory) with limited to no customizations.
- Assess people, process, and technology dimensions of laboratory workflow processes.
- Clarify business requirements, implement future state process improvements.
- Validate that system configurations delivered by LabVantage consultants match documented requirements.
- Assist the project team with transformation, load, and validation of LabVantage master data.
- Coordinate with other IT team members to perform functional testing of system interfaces with LIMS (ERP, GPS) and analytical instruments.

**Business**
- Facilitate development of cross-SBU solutions and LIMS modules through their knowledge of research and development laboratories and promote process standardization.
- Assist with master data imports, legacy data migration, system iteration validation, user acceptance testing, and documenting and tracking issues through resolution.

**Technical**
- You will participate in the definition, testing, training, implementation, and support of business solutions.
- You will identify customer requirements, develop test schedules, review testing plans, and track and document the development and results of these plans. Subsequently, develop alternative technical solutions using multiple tools.

**Qualifications**
- A degree in Business, IT or 5+ years of equivalent IT work experience is required.
- Experience with participation on IT project teams, global system implementations and S&T or EHS functions.
- Experience in Lab Information Management Systems (LIMS) and knowledgeable in SQL queries.
- Assimilate assigned business area's products and processes.
- Experience in gathering requirements, functional design, and system testing.
