**Duties & Responsibilities**

**Strategic Planning**: Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure the efficient and profitable operation of the food processing facility. This involves setting goals, establishing budgets, and creating strategies for growth and improvement.

**Operations Management**: Oversee all aspects of the production process, including sourcing raw materials, processing, packaging, and distribution. Ensure that production schedules are met, quality standards are maintained, and efficiency is maximized.

**Quality Control**: Implement and maintain strict quality control measures to ensure that all products meet regulatory standards and customer expectations. This involves monitoring production processes, conducting quality inspections, and addressing any issues that arise.

**Compliance**: Stay up-to-date with all relevant regulations and ensure that the facility complies with food safety, health, and environmental standards. This includes obtaining necessary permits and licenses and maintaining accurate records. Demonstrate understanding of and compliance with all HACCP, GMP, 5S, HALAL requirements, food safety, hygiene, quality and occupational health and safety procedures to ensure that products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.

**Inventory Management**: Manage inventory levels to ensure that production runs smoothly and that there are adequate supplies on hand to meet demand. This involves forecasting demand, coordinating with suppliers, and optimizing inventory levels.

**Team Leadership**: Provide leadership and direction to the production team, including hiring and training staff, setting performance expectations, and fostering a positive work environment. This may also involve resolving conflicts, addressing employees concerns and employee code of conduct.

**Budgeting and Financial Management**: Develop and manage budgets for the food processing facility, including production costs, labor expenses, and overhead costs. Monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving measures where necessary.

**Supplier and Vendor Management**: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and equipment and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.

**Continuous Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains and implement changes as needed. This may involve implementing new technologies, streamlining workflows, or optimizing production processes.

**Customer Relations**: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to understand customer needs and preferences and ensure that products meet market demand. Address customer complaints and feedback promptly and work to continuously improve customer satisfaction.

**Safety**: Prioritize and maintain a safe working environment for all employees, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and implementing safety training programs as needed.

**Environmental Sustainability**: Develop and implement initiatives to minimize the environmental impact of food processing operations, such as reducing waste and energy consumption.

Overall, the Food Processing General Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and successful operation of a food processing facility, from overseeing production processes to managing finances and ensuring compliance with regulations.

**Requirements**:

- Preferably with experience in manufacturing food industry/food processing.
- **Proven experience (5+ years) in bakery management or a similar role, preferably in a high-volume bakery or food production environment.**:

- **Relevant working experience in the managerial role in food industry/food processing.**:

- Possess high standards of integrity and personal work standards - extensive knowledge, experience and skills in cross-cultural negotiations and business environments.
- Extensive experience in regulatory compliance and audit processes such as ISO, HALAL, HACCP, DOSH and BOMBA.
- Excellent people skills, strong and focused leadership, and a good communicative team player.
- Ability to think out-of-the-box, driving energy and encouraging new ideas.
- Location of workplace is in Nusajaya Technology Park.
- Minimum 10-15 years working experience, preferable with manufacturing Food industry working experience.
- Highly organized and detail-orientated; high level of accuracy, Strong sense of urgency, proactive and dynamic.

Pay: RM15,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per month
