About the Role
As a key team member, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting financial transactions, maintaining records, and supporting budget analysis. Your keen eye for detail will shine as you ensure accurate financial reporting and resolve discrepancies. You'll also contribute to an efficient workflow by managing facilities and optimizing processes within the office.
**What You’ll Do**:
- Responsible for financial operations, account transactions, functions and processes which include but not limited to disbursements to vendors, employee claims, sales commission payout and monitoring collections from clients.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and payment information including general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Work with the appointed accounting firm on year-end reporting and financial statements.
- Analyse and monitor monthly office budgets and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting to management.
- Resolve any financial discrepancies and disputes in a timely and professional manner.
- Foster a conducive work environment that nurtures creativity and collaboration while driving seamless day-to-day operations through process optimization for productivity and harmony.
**; Requirements: - What You’ll Need**:
- Tertiary education/diploma or a bachelor’s degree qualification in accounting or finance.
- 2-3 years of experience working for a start up or SME environment.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites.
