**Role Summary**
- To support business development assistant manager in daily operations matters
- Identify, develop, and maintain good relationships with strategic partners in Malaysia
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in Malaysia, and turn prospective project leads into long-term clients

**Core Responsibilities**
- To learn and provide inputs to Business Development Assistant Manager
- Identity, develop, and maintain good relationships with strategic partners in the region including clients and contractors
- Identify new business opportunities in both Commercial and Industrial (C&I), and Large-Scale Solar (LSS) market
- Establish and maintain good relationships with local authorities and other industry stakeholders (distribution licensee, SEDA, Energy Commission (ST), Ministry of Energy, industry association)
- Provide presentation and consultancy during business development phase
- Attend site surveys to examine feasibility of solar PV projects and collect relevant information for Engineering team
- Act as the liaison between Sunseap and its clients and contractor partners
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Promote company’s services and work closely with the Engineering Team to support clients’ needs
- Assist in the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for clients
- Work closely with the team to turn prospective project leads into long-term clients
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing executive in providing feedbacks received from clients
- Provide market intelligence (projects, regulations, trends, competitor’s activities, prices)

**Qualifications**
- Proven working experience in handling sales and business development
- Proven sales track record
- Possess good communication and negotiation skills
- Experienced in solar industry
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Ability to work independently
- Time management and planning skills
- Good in Microsoft Offices - Excel, Word, Power Point
- Able to travel outstation to support project needs when required
- Preferably 2 - 3 years’ experience in sales and business development
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

- Performance bonus

- Petaling Jaya: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Business Development: 3 years (preferred)
