**Job Title: Market Intelligence Specialist**

Location: Shah Alam (Selangor)

Department: Marketing and Corporate Strategy

Reports To: Head of Marketing and Corporate Strategy

Job Summary:
The Market Intelligence Specialist is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting ophthalmic device market trend market data to provide actionable insights that inform strategic business decisions. This role involves conducting market research, competitive analysis, and tracking industry trends to support the company’s marketing and sales initiatives. The Market Intelligence Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the organization remains competitive and responsive to market dynamics.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Market Research and Analysis:
1. Liaise with Regional MA & Upstream marketing specialists to develop a list of monitoring targets for market trends including but not limited to industry magazines, websites, and SNS.

2. Contact regional/local KOLs to understand their usual info source and keep updating the monitoring target list on at least a quarterly basis.

3. Continuously monitor **ophthalmic device market** trends by monitoring the target list and posting market trend updates to the distributor website on at least a monthly basis for (Trending Technology, Products, and Companies)

4. Identify potential vendors and partners to collaborate and work along.

5. Liaise with the Regional Head of Application Specialist to develop a list of competitors to monitor their activities and identify sources of information to check their recent activities from websites.

6. To strictly follow company’s job dispatching/assignment system to prevent errors and delay from happening.

7. To actively propose an improved way of doing things to make it more efficient and accurate and improve customer satisfaction.

8. Prepare detailed reports and presentations on market findings and insights.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

3-5 years of experience in market research, competitive analysis, or a similar role.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
