**JOB PURPOSE/ROLE/SUMMARY**
- Establish Business Continuity Management (“BCM”) strategy in Allianz Malaysia Berhad and its subsidiaries (“Allianz Malaysia”) in ensuring that an adequate level of continuity of critical business functions and essential services is establish throughout the companies as well as to meet the requirements of Allianz SE and Bank Negara Malaysia.
- Within the context of BCM strategies in Allianz Malaysia, to develop, maintain and produce a corporate wide business continuity program that addresses disaster recovery, business recovery and emergency response management.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assessment of potential business impact analysis (“BIA”) for all business units. Identifies and defines critical/ time sensitive business functions and recommends to the management on recovery strategies and resources requirements
- Evaluate potential threats through risk identification and assessment (“RIA”) and recommends to Senior Management on mitigation necessary in the context of assisting and minimizing impact towards business disruptions.
- Assist business units with:

- Developing effective department recovery procedures/ plans
- Identifying critical and time sensitive business functions and recommending departmental recovery procedures/ plans
- Recommend recovery strategies and options, and direct involvement with the coordination of recovery solutions.
- Coordinate business continuity plan exercises by leading the development of relevant business continuity disaster recovery testing and activities.
- Develop schedules for training/ awareness for all staffs within Allianz Malaysia.
- Develop schedules and ensuring annual business continuity documentation maintenance and update, exercises and independent review and validation.
- Reports the overall business continuity status, activities and incident updates to Senior Management.
- Provide expertise and support to Senior Management, Incident Management Team and business functional areas, as requested, when a business disruption occurs.
- Managing risks, implementing effective controls, and efficiently executing daily business procedures to help ensure a well-controlled and vital organization in accordance to Allianz Standard and Framework.
- Supervise / lead the BCM portfolio and ensure effective operational matters running smooth.
- Provide support for ad hoc request on operation matters.

**KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE**
- At least 5 years of working experience in managing BCM and Crisis Management portfolios.
- Good understanding in BCM and Crisis Management practices preferably in Financial Institution.
- Professional certifications in BCM and/or Crisis Management would be an advantage
- Must be self-motivated, proactive, and able to work well under pressure to manage multi-tasking
- Strong judgment, with the ability to make quick, yet sound decisions and follow through.
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in problem-solving environment, with a strong customer centricity and commitment to deliver.
- Team-player attitude, with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders (written and oral)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Meticulous, with an eye for details and hands on person.
