Why does this job exist and why is it critical?

The job holder is responsible for the delivery of a framework and strategy for Maxis IOT platform strategy which includes the identification and selection of partners, commercial models and operational model for the platform. The job holder is expected to recommend and drive negotiations of the partnerships for a sustainable long term model.

The job holder is also required to deliver a GTM roadmap of key propositions, services model and commercial models for customers. As the key expert for IoT platform service, he/she will lead business development workshops for key customers to execute the strategies.

It is expected that the job holder work with both business teams and technical teams to define and align the approach and also identify the needs and gaps which could lead to the evaluation and selection of integration partners (e.g devices, SIs, developers, etc).

What are you accountable for?
- Define the IoT Marketplace and Platforms product feature set and roadmap. Analyze customers’ needs and pain points, understanding market trends & competition, bring a unique value proposition to the product.
- Lead the strategy and innovation on a robust and innovative Maxis Internet of Things (IoT) Platform & Marketplace including customer experience and market strategies.
- Identify and develop a portfolio of IoT (internal and external) ISVs, understand the business and requirements, drive the systems integrations and technology partners to create useful, meaningful integrations and go-to-market programs.
- Develop strategic plans, drive the building of capabilities including the need for infrastructure, skill sets, develop partnerships.
- Prepare and manage GTM plans for existing and future IoT Marketplace & Platforms.
- Develop and document detailed and clear business and technical requirements, and work with User Experience (UX), technical marketing and engineering architects and product owners to elaborate and refine those requirements for implementation.
- Act as the business development and solution advisor for establishing and delivering holistic IoT solutions and services which contribute to Maxis Enterprise Solutions (MES) sales targets, whilst delivering an unmatched customer experience.
- Responsible to work with various solution partners, internal product team, network, IT and customer service stakeholders along with the sales teams within enterprise division to effectively curate suitable solutions and services to deliver to customers.
- Manage contracts, lead bids, explore new opportunities and manage issues and deliverables.
- Contribute to IoT financial targets and create a differentiation for the Maxis Enterprise Solution Division via the IoT portfolio.

What do you need to have for this role?
- Bachelor Degree in Business management, IT, Engineering or related discipline
- Possess total of 5 to 8 years work experience in IoT Platforms
- 3 to 4 years experience in Product Lifecycle management
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management
- Technologically proficient in IoT, Cloud, Big Data etc.
- Possess solid business acumen and presentation skills
- Has strong executive presence
