Localization Manager

As a localization manager at Intellect, you would be responsible for overseeing the process of adapting products, marketing materials, and other content for different languages and regions. This may involve coordinating with translators and other language professionals, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring that the localized content is accurate and culturally appropriate. You may also be responsible for developing and implementing localization strategies and policies, as well as working with other teams to ensure that localization is integrated into the overall product development process. In addition, you may be responsible for tracking and analyzing localization metrics to help your company make informed decisions about its global expansion efforts.
- Overseeing the localization process for products, marketing materials, and other content
- Coordinating with translators, language professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure that localized content is accurate and culturally appropriate
- Managing budgets and timelines for localization projects
- Developing and implementing localization strategies and policies
- Working with other teams to ensure that localization is integrated into the overall product development process
- Tracking and analyzing localization metrics to inform global expansion efforts
- Ensuring that localized content meets industry standards and guidelines
- Managing relationships with external vendors and partners involved in the localization process
- Providing guidance and support to other teams on localization-related matters
- Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in localization management.

**Requirements**:

- Language proficiency: Depending on the products and markets that your company serves, you may need to be proficient in one or more languages in addition to English.
- Cultural awareness: A good localization manager should have a strong understanding of different cultures and the ways in which they may impact the way products and content are received.
- Project management: As a localization manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects at once, so strong project management skills are essential.
- Attention to detail: Localization requires a high level of attention to detail, as even small errors can have significant consequences.
- Communication skills: You will need to be able to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external partners, so strong communication skills are important.
- Adaptability: The localization industry is constantly changing, so it's important to be able to adapt to new technologies and processes as needed.
- Problem-solving: Localization projects can often involve complex challenges, so being able to think on your feet and come up with creative solutions is essential.
