**Overview of Job Function
Verint is looking for a Solution Consultant who will provide pre-sales expertise in the domain of deal/sales operations. The Solution Sales Cloud Specialist is responsible for supporting cloud-related opportunities as assigned and for creation of cloud-related content to be used by account teams. The role is focused on helping to build SaaS into the fabric of our Sales/Pre-Sales organization.
The role is the focal point for coordinating, creating and delivering industry specific engagement proposals for RFPs and well qualified direct sales customer leads. The role will be a critically important “intelligent switch” between sales, product management, services, pricing and contracts in both an influencing and synthesis capacity.

**Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities**
- Design customer specific offerings participate in design security and architecture discussions.
- Maintain a thorough on-going knowledge of Verint products and technology, Cloud solutions, security practices, and industry trends.
- Participate actively in the sales process where appropriate: partner with the appropriate people within the company to identify, expand, and help close deals.
- Coach sales team to uncover customer needs, develop champions, present specific use cases, demonstrate the differentiated value of Verint and negotiate favorable pricing and terms by selling value and ROI.
- Serve as the expert communicator and presenter with prospects and customers covering service-level details of the Verint Cloud offer.
- Provide context for product variations between deployment types.
- Provide Security and Compliance related materials to prospects and customers while working closely with InfoSec/CISO to adjust content and materials for effectiveness and completeness.
- Develop customer-specific strategies and alignment with marketplaces and partner resources.
- Continuously explore new ways customers are consuming the Verint Cloud product suite for product development, and best practices to create new models for consumption and selling.
- Review Sales-proposed quotes, provide feedback and coaching, ensure compliance with published sales and business policies, and approve or reject/escalate quotes as needed based on policy and business judgment
- Own and manage the contract drafting process, generating standard documents and working with Legal and Finance to help Sales respond to customer feedback, including managing ‘redline’ changes leading up to customer acceptance
- Creating and defining solution architecture for on-prem and cloud based solutions offered by Verint.
- Validate customer purchase orders for approved quote documentation, prepare order entry documents & associated approval documentation packages to expedite order management processes Partner closely with internal departments (Sales, Sales Operations, Legal, Finance, etc.), customers, and third-party vendors closely on standard flow process and all related tasks.
**Minimum Requirements**
- 10 years overall functional experience. Strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills and ability to interface with all levels of an organization.
- **AND **5+ years of experience in a software solutions oriented pre-sales/solution consulting role.
- **WITH **4+ years of Security and Compliance related Network Engineering in large organizational with experience delivering SaaS products implementation in large, complex business environments. **OR **Minimum of 4+ years of experience with SaaS
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Ability to discuss, understand, and work within complex projects and processes
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Strong ability to collaborate and influence effectively across a matrixed organization
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to self-direct with mínimal supervision
