Job Summary:
As the Business Development at Sustenir Malaysia, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of our business. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and fostering long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the industry. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you will collaborate closely with the sales team to achieve revenue targets and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Job responsibilities:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities: Conduct market research to identify potential markets, customers, and industry trends. Develop a strategic business development plan together with the head of sales to penetrate new markets and expand our customer base.
- Sales support: Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing team to support efforts in achieving sales targets and provide sales tools. Provide market intelligence through competitive analysis to create sales excellence strategies and tactics.
- Relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Contract negotiation: Lead contract negotiations and listing with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties. Collaborate with legal and finance teams to review and finalize contracts in a timely manner.
- Market expansion: Develop and implement market expansion strategies in alignment with the company's growth objectives. Identify new markets, evaluate market potential, and recommend entry strategies.
- Reporting and analysis: Track, analyze, and report on business development
- activities, providing regular updates to the Head of Sales. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop action plans to address any gaps or areas for improvement.

**Requirements**:
1. Education and experience: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably in the food industry.

2. Industry knowledge: Strong understanding of the food industry, including key players, market dynamics, and emerging trends.

3. Strategic mindset: Ability to think strategically and identify new business opportunities. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful business development strategies.

4. Relationship building: Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.

5. Communication skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to deliver persuasive presentations, negotiate contracts, and effectively communicate complex ideas.

6. Results-oriented: Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and business development goals. Proven ability to drive revenue growth and deliver measurable results.

7. Analytical skills: Proficiency in data analysis and market research. Ability to interpret market trends, customer preferences, and competitive intelligence to inform business strategies.

8. Team player: Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Experience working closely with sales teams is advantageous.

9. Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM5,000.00 per month
