The accounts officer - receivable is responsible for the prompt and accurate billing of all city ledger and credit card accounts. He/she is also responsible for responding to guest and management inquiries on a timely basis.
- maintaining billing system, generating invoices and account statements,
- maintaining accounts receivablefiles and records; assisting in general financial analysisand management, performing day-to-day financial transactions, facilitating payment of invoices, and reconciling accounts receivableledgers.
- Prepares all City Ledger statements on a timely and accurate basis
- Prepares and bills all Credit Card statements on a timely and accurate basis
- Researches and responds in writing to all correspondence and telephone inquiries concerning Credit Card billings within 48 hours of the receipt of the correspondence or telephone call
- Files all billing copies, correspondence and replies promptly and accurately
- Performs whatever additional tasks as required by the Assistant Financial Controller to guarantee that the Accounts Receivable section of the Accounting Department functions professionally
