Finance Officer Job Description
A **Finance Officer** plays a crucial role in managing the financial transactions of an organization. They are responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring the company’s financial health, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. **Responsibilities**:
- **Record Keeping**:
- Maintain accurate records for all daily financial transactions.
- Update internal systems with financial data.
- **Financial Reporting**:
- Prepare balance sheets.
- Process invoices.
- Record accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- **Budgeting and Planning**:
- Assist with budget preparation.
- Track bank deposits and payments.
- **Audits and Compliance**:
- Participate in financial audits.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
Requirements and Skills:
- **Work Experience**: Proven work experience as a Finance Officer or in a similar financial role.
- **Financial Knowledge**: Solid understanding of financial and accounting procedures.
- **Software Proficiency**: Experience using financial software.
- **Advanced Excel Skills**: Proficiency in MS Excel.
- **Analytical Skills**: Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
- **Time Management**: Sharp time management skills.
- **Ethics and Confidentiality**: Strong ethics and ability to handle confidential data.
- **Education**: A BSc degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. Professional qualifications such as CFA or CPA are considered a plus.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate
Pay: RM1,542.28 - RM3,500.00 per month
