Act as **Product Specialist** to deliver sales figure and contribute to **IT Infrastructure solution** that strike across Network Services and Enterprise Group business in NEC Corporation of Malaysia (NECoMAL). Support NECoMal’s IP Solution sales figures.

As a **Product Specialist** required to support NECoMALS IP Solution sales figures. Will required to focus on a set of vendor’s solution, provide Product Development and GTM(Go To Market) strategy targeting the assigned vendor’s solution.

**Main accountabilities**
- Operate as the single point of contact for designated vendor’s solution
- Build and maintain good relationship in all level with the assigned Vendor and distributor working with.
- Required to improve the relationship and grow the vendor’s business in NEC
- Required to go through the 5P’s of Marketing Strategy and approach. (PRODUCTIZATION the solution, PRICING the solution, PROMOTION & Programs, PLACEMENT of solution, and PEOPLE awareness)
- Ensure on time and success of the GTM with vendors solution
- Communicate monthly / quarterly initiatives progress to internal and external stakeholders
- Constantly update internal (workshop, trainings, technology roadmap)
- Constantly update externally (customer workshop, customer poc/demo arrangement with Solution Specialist, technology roadmap with customer)
- Forecast and follow-up key account metrics (Required to plan out the project pipeline to go through with vendor during QBR )
- QBR with the assigned vendor (Quarterly Business Review)
- Identity and grow possible opportunities
- Build up the assigned vendor’s solution pipeline
- Quota base on vendor’s solution achievement.

**Minimum knowledge requirement**

**1) **_Technology_** : Server /Storage / VMWare / Cloud background or

**2) **_Solution & services knowledge covers _**:
- a. Server System Infrastructure & HCI

b. Storage NAS and SAN

c. Cloud (Hybrid, Private, Public)

d. BURA (Back Up Recovery Achieve)

**3) **_Channel_** : have close contact and good rapport distributor and vendors or

**4) **_5P knowledge_** : have product marketing knowledge of 5P (Program, Pricing, Placement, People, Productization )

**5) **_Attitude_** : Must have positive attitude to pick up new technology and skillset, must be proactive, consistency and aggressive to the market with strategic thinking

**Specialization**: Specialize on Server System, Storage, Backup, and Cloud

**Certification**: n/a (Good to have any from VMWare, Dell EMC, HPE, Netapps, Microsoft)

**Minimum Years of experience**

5 years or similar experience

Role description detail:
- Product Management - System infrastructure solution.
- Manage product principal / manufacturer
- to secure discount,
- deal registration,
- attend to QBR (Quarterly Business Review),
- update pipeline etc.
- Manage Product Marketing strategies, work with marketing on GTM, how to re-act to competitor’s product etc.
- Act as company’s primary liaison with respective product principal in terms of communication, update (deal registration and discount), progress and issues.
- Define and lead product's Go-To-Market strategy throughout the entire sales life cycle from strategic overview planning to tactical on-the-field activities.
- Responsible for coaching and providing sales team with the necessary commercial and technical input to enable them to drive frontline sales.
- Proactive management of all aspects related to the assigned product (forecast, promotion, P&L).

This role revolves around good communication and collaboration with sales team (Sales Specialist, and Client Account Manager) on the vendor’s business assigned to. The success of the revenue contribution of the vendor’s business in NEC contribute the success of this individual.
